President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that steps will be taken to further encourage researchers by formulating a national policy that will use the knowledge of the country’s scientists for national economy. Participating at a seminar for launching Plantation sector researches held in Colombo yesterday the President said that the Government had realized the importance of using the knowledge of the country’s intelligentsia and experts for national development plan instead of brain drainage.
