The video produced by the Youth Voices Count members in Sri Lanka bringing together 2015 International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT) theme addresses the issues faced by transgender community in Sri Lanka.
It questions as to how the concept of equality can be upheld if the island's law excludes a particular community living among us.
The video was produced as a part of Loud and Proud campaign,which is an initiative by YVC to raise awareness on self-stigma issue among young MSM and young transgender people in Asia and the Pacific region.
The campaign has already taken place in China, Fiji, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
