Sri Lanka's tea production in June 2015 was recorded at 28.9 million kilo grams, which was a 7% deficit when compared with the same period of 2014.
The High Grown elevation recorded a decrease of 6%.
The Medium Grown recorded a decrease of 4% whilst the Low Grown recorded a decrease 8%.
Sri Lanka's Tea production in the first six months of this year at 172.6 million kilo grams has recorded a marginal decrease of 0.59% when compared with the same period of 2014.
