Unilever Sri Lanka brings together industry opinion leaders to redefine the value of beauty in the country
Unilever Sri Lanka, in a revolutionary move, launched the ‘Beauty Council’, an industry body consisting of the most influential industry experts to inspire women of Sri Lanka to realise the true value of beauty. Launched in the presence of Shaziya Syed, Chairperson of Unilever Sri Lanka, at an event in Colombo, the Beauty Council will aim to inspire women to be their beautiful best by redefining perceptions of beauty in Sri Lanka.
Commenting on this very special initiative, Siddharth Banerjee, Country Marketing Director, Unilever Sri Lanka, said, “As a company that endeavours to continuously add value to the lives of Sri Lankans, it is indeed an honour and a pleasure to introduce the Beauty Council to Sri Lanka. This Beauty Council is the focus of a long-term plan to create a national movement to encourage Sri Lankans to see the true value of beauty, and the role it plays in an individual’s progress as well the advancement of the society around them.”
