Celine Dion has pulled the plug on five upcoming Las Vegas shows so she can rest her inflamed vocal chords.
Doctors have told the singer to take a break after discovering "acute inflammation and swelling in the muscles adjacent to her vocal chords", and so she has scrapped a series of her The Colosseum shows at Caesar's Palace from Wednesday night.
The Canadian superstar has been performing her Celine show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace since 2011. She began her residency at the venue that was specially built for her in 2002.
